Welcome to Transitara. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Description of Service

Transitara provides a web-based fleet management platform for ride-share and transportation operators. Features include trip tracking, driver management, expense tracking, vehicle management, document compliance tracking, and reporting.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscription & Payments

• Transitara offers a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start.
• After the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for refund requests.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Upload malicious code or interfere with Service functionality
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service

5. Your Data

• You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service.
• We provide CSV export tools so you can download your data at any time.
• We will not access your data except as needed to provide support or maintain the Service.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss caused by circumstances beyond our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

Transitara is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request a data export before account deletion.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
